stARTers: Paolo Fanciullacci
On Tuesday November 21st, 6 p.m., at the Siena Art Institute there will be a stARTers talk featuring Paolo Fanciullacci, an expert in ancient music, particularly the cornetto--a unique wind instrument featured in the music of Castello, Gabrieli, and Monteverdi. Musicians Andrea Inghisciano (on the cornetto) and Anais Chen (on the violin) will also be there.
The presentation will be in Italian, with an English synopsis. There will also be a Q&A and light refreshments at the end. The event is free and open to the public.
