The class offers an overview of some of the most significant authors of 19th and 20th century Italian literature. The course will be divided into two parts. In the first part, the professor will introduce the life, writing, and style of the authors; in the second part, the students will analyze their works in an open class discussion. The students will be required to write five papers throughout the course.
