When we travel it is the country we are visiting that speaks to us, guides us, inhabits us.

The Siena School is organized into departments that offer 4-month semester courses, ranging from 36 to 60 contact hrs, and 2 to 4 week intensive courses with 60+ contact hrs. The school is active throughout the year, offering a spring and fall semester, a j-term and a summer term. We’re also pleased to arrange customized programs, to lease program spaces and facilities, and to organize programs in joint venture with other institutions.
The Siena School is a Study Abroad provider which collaborates with many North American partner institutions. Our close ties to the Università degli Studi di Siena and other local institutions provide opportunities for shared intellectual growth. Via agreement with single colleges, credit transfer is possible. For those cases in which an agreement with a college/university is not yet in place, it's always possible to go through our school of record.
Through a unique combination of classroom study, intensive programs, fieldwork, service-learning, workshops and weekend activities, the Siena School fosters a hands-on engagement with aspects of the Italian way of life usually inaccessible to the visitor.
