The Siena School is founded on and is constantly evolving from the contribution of our students, our teachers and our staff. We believe that one of our main strengths is being receptive to ideas that are coherent with our educational philosophy and being willing to bring them to fruition. And the ideas that we support the most are those that give our students the possibility to communicate constructively with our local community. We have ongoing academic/service learning projects in a home for the elderly and in a day centre for psychiatric rehabilitation; we have ongoing cultural and educational projects with the local deaf community and we have just started a new collaboration with a bilingual kindergarten. And many more are waiting to have a change to be put into practice.
If you want to help us continue to grow both in what we can offer our students and in how we can serve our community with their help, you can do so in multiple ways: volunteer in the community while you are studying with us; come back to intern in one of the organizations we collaborate with; send us a donation.
For the moment we can only accept cheques which have to be made out to our non-profit branch Sienadiversamente for scholarships and current projects or to the School ISLA SRL for renewal of art facilities. We ask you to specify what you would like your donation to go to: Scholarships; Current Projects, Art Facilities and Library. We will inform you as soon as receive your cheque and you will be notified as soon as we have raised the amount we need for the specific area you chose to donate to.
Scholarships
The Siena School offers every semester a full tuition and a half tuition merit and need based scholarships. With your help we could provide this wonderful opportunity to more students.
