Students can take part in Humanities courses that give them a literary, political and cultural context to their experience abroad. Students can choose to study Italian Literature or Political Science in small, personal classes that focus on intensive study and explorative discussion. The Siena School also arranges specific independent study courses for students who have areas of interested that are not covered in our traditionally offered courses. In addition, every student enrolls in a Cultural Studies course as a part of the Italian Language program.

It is also possible for students with a high level of Italian to enroll in a wide variety of Humanities courses at the University of Siena.
